This is a 3-hour class conducted by our Guest Chef Brendan Pang. We provide all the ingredients, aprons, and equipment you need at your cooking station. Our experienced chef will demonstrate everything you’re expected to cook.

Brendan Pang shares our philosophy at VIVE, and believed that cooking should be fun and uncomplicated, and anyone who loves food can cook. Some of our classes (and dishes) might seem too complicated to the amateur cook, but Brendan is great in breaking down techniques, and walking you through each steps of a dish to make it accessible to you. It is all about building your confidence in the kitchen whilst having fun, and surprising yourself with what you can achieve.

Our cooking stations are designed for two people. If you book a single ticket or an odd number of tickets, you may be paired with another participant, a great way to meet new foodies friends.

We also encourage you to bring some takeaway boxes for any leftovers.

About our Guest: Brendan Pang

Brendan Pang is a cook, author, and content creator with a passion for bringing the vibrant flavours of
his Chinese-Mauritian heritage to life. Splitting his time between Perth, Australia, and Taiwan,
Brendan's journey with food began in his childhood, when his Grandmere taught him to make
wontons from scratch. This deep-rooted love for cooking grew, and many may recognise him from his
time on MasterChef Australia in 2018 and 2020.

As the founder of Bumplings, Brendan created a community around Asian street food. Over five
years, he served up thousands of dumplings and other street eats at events, from his shop in
Fremantle, and through his pop-up cooking school. This venture brought his passion for authentic,
bold flavours to the forefront, creating an unforgettable experience for food lovers across Perth.

Now, Brendan shares his love of food worldwide through cooking classes, demos, and events, while
also inspiring a global audience on social media. His focus is on creating honest, accessible dishes
that anyone can enjoy, offering recipes, tips, and a welcoming invitation to explore the flavours he
loves
