Brendan Pang is a cook, author, and content creator with a passion for bringing the vibrant flavours of
his Chinese-Mauritian heritage to life. Splitting his time between Perth, Australia, and Taiwan,
Brendan's journey with food began in his childhood, when his Grandmere taught him to make
wontons from scratch. This deep-rooted love for cooking grew, and many may recognise him from his
time on MasterChef Australia in 2018 and 2020.
As the founder of Bumplings, Brendan created a community around Asian street food. Over five
years, he served up thousands of dumplings and other street eats at events, from his shop in
Fremantle, and through his pop-up cooking school. This venture brought his passion for authentic,
bold flavours to the forefront, creating an unforgettable experience for food lovers across Perth.
Now, Brendan shares his love of food worldwide through cooking classes, demos, and events, while
also inspiring a global audience on social media. His focus is on creating honest, accessible dishes
that anyone can enjoy, offering recipes, tips, and a welcoming invitation to explore the flavours he
loves
